Full-stack software, built to run in production.
Senior engineers who own features and services end to end, from API design and data models through to production interfaces. We deliver custom software development across web, mobile, backend, and integrations, including the regulated, integration-heavy systems that most teams would rather not take on.
Web, mobile, and the systems behind them
Full-cycle delivery: design, build, deploy, and support. One team owns the whole path, so nothing falls between vendors.
Web platforms
Performance-critical web platforms in Next.js and React, using server-side rendering and static generation where each fits. Patient portals, staff portals, admin tools, and customer-facing products.
Mobile applications
React Native apps shipped to the App Store and Google Play, with native module integration when the platform demands it. We have shipped patient and clinician apps, resident apps, and booking apps on shared backends.
Backends and APIs
Services in Node, .NET, Java, and Python. REST and GraphQL APIs designed for clarity, with data models that hold up as the product grows. Concurrency handled by design: distributed locks keep a clinical scheduling system free of double-bookings.
Databases
Relational and document data modeled for the workload: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, and MS SQL, with Redis where speed matters. Schemas, migrations, and indexes planned before the first feature ships.
Integrations
Whatever the integration matrix demands. Real-time sync with two leading EMR/EHR systems, WebRTC telehealth with a Twilio fallback, Stripe payments and subscriptions, messaging, and headless CMS on Strapi or Sanity.
Legacy modernization
Existing systems, legacy code, and the data inside them, replaced in stages rather than in one risky cutover. We have turned complex regulations and government datasets into a modern platform with an audit trail designed for formal review.
Software built to be operated, audited, and changed
Real-world software has existing systems, legacy code, complex data, security requirements, integrations, compliance requirements, and users who need to actually adopt what you build. We design for all of that from the first week, not after launch.
- Audit logs, observability, and rollback paths are the floor, not a feature.
- Architecture choices made early. Data model, service boundaries, and integration patterns are committed to before they get expensive to change.
- Correctness by design. Concurrency, permissions, and failure modes are handled in the architecture, not patched later.
- Integrations that degrade gracefully. When a dependency fails, the product keeps working, like telehealth falling back for low-bandwidth calls.
- Weekly working demos. You see running software against real workflows throughout the build.
When the product needs AI features, the same team covers AI and LLM engineering. When it needs to scale, cloud and DevOps engineering is part of the pod.
Technologies we work in
We work across the modern web and fit into the stack you already run.
Frontend and mobile
Web and mobile interfaces on shared foundations.
Backend and data
Services, APIs, and the data they depend on.
Integrations
The systems your product has to talk to.
How you can engage
The same engineers, three ways to work with them. Pick the model that matches how defined the problem is and how much ownership you want to hand over.
Forward Deployed Engineering
An FDE works with your product and engineering leads to define what should be built, then leads a pod that builds, integrates, and ships it. Best for new products and complex integrations.
How Forward Deployed Engineering works →Dedicated Engineering Pod
A senior-led pod owns a defined application or platform from architecture through deployment, with QA and DevOps included as required.
Build a dedicated engineering pod →Embedded Engineers
Senior full-stack, mobile, or backend engineers join your team and your process to add capacity or a skill you are missing.

Common questions
Do you build both web and mobile applications?
Yes. We build web platforms in Next.js and React, and mobile apps in React Native for iOS and Android, usually sharing one backend and one data model. Several of our platforms ship a patient or customer app alongside staff portals on the same record.
Which backend languages and databases do you work in?
Node, .NET, Java, and Python on the backend, with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, and MS SQL. We usually fit the language and database your team already runs, so the system stays maintainable after we hand over.
Can you integrate with EMR/EHR, payment, and messaging systems?
Yes. We have built real-time sync with two leading EMR/EHR systems, WebRTC telehealth with a Twilio fallback for low-bandwidth connections, Stripe payments and subscriptions, and headless CMS setups on Strapi and Sanity.
Can you modernize a legacy system without stopping the business?
That is usually the goal. Your FDE maps the existing system, its data, and its integrations first, then the pod replaces it in stages, with each stage running in production before the next begins. See how Forward Deployed Engineering handles this kind of work.

A short conversation is enough to understand the problem, the systems involved, and the team required to move it forward.
